Apply for Australian ETA Tourist Electronic Visa (Visa Subclass 651)

Australian ETA Tourist Electronic Visa (Visa Subclass 651)

Duration of stay for Australian ETA Tourist Electronic Visa:It enables the applicant to hold a 1-year visa with unlimited entries into Australia, and each stay can be up to 3 months.

Australian ETA Tourist Electronic Visa Policy: The applicant is permitted to come to Australia. This visa must be applied for and granted outside of Australia. You will not be allowed to work or provide services to any Australian business or institution, nor may you sell goods or provide services to the public. If you intend to engage in short-term work in Australia, you must apply for the new temporary work visa (Subclass 400).

Attention:An ETA is automatically linked to your passport. The customs authorities and airline check-in staff have access to this information, using your passport details, so there is no need for any further documentation or reference numbers to be presented. 

Visa verification: Applicants can verify the ETA electronic visa through the official website of the Australian Consulate.

Notes before application:  

1. Please provide the passport page with the official photo.  

2. The applicant must take a frontal selfie with a white background.  

3. The applicant’s residential address in Australia (if any).  

Visa review process:  

The Australian Consulate will randomly select some applicants for review and require them to submit the following relevant supporting documents:  

1. The applicant must fill out Form 1554 from the Australian Consulate.  

2. The applicant must provide detailed departure and return dates and itinerary.  

3. The applicant must provide a detailed explanation of the reasons and purposes for traveling to Australia this time.  

4. Proof of employment/study enrollment.  

5. Financial proof of sufficient funds for the trip.  

If you already hold an Australian ETA tourist electronic visa (Australian visa)  

The Australian ETA Tourist Electronic Visa (Subclass 651) has replaced the following visas: 

●ETA Electronic Tourist Visa (Subclass 976)  

●ETA Electronic Business Visa - Short-term (Subclass 977)  

●ETA Electronic Business Visa - Long-term (Subclass 956) 

- If you already hold one of the above electronic visas, it will remain valid until a new ETA is issued.  

- If you apply for and are granted a new ETA, the previously issued ETA will become invalid once the new ETA takes effect.  

Australian ETA Tourist Electronic Visa (Australian Visa Subclass 601) – Who can apply?  
Those who meet the following conditions can apply for an Australian ETA Tourist Electronic Visa:  
●Coming to Australia for tourism or business purposes.  
●Holding a passport from a country eligible for ETA applications.

 

Apply for an Australian ETA 651 Electronic Visa

An Electronic Travel Authority (ETA) is an electronic visa for visitors traveling to Australia for tourism or business purposes, allowing multiple entries within one year, with each stay in Australia not exceeding 3 months.

1)ETA 651 Tourist Visa

The ETA is valid for one year, allowing multiple entries into Australia, with a maximum stay of three months each time.  

It permits travel to Australia for tourism, visiting relatives or friends, or attending short-term courses that last no more than three months.

Note: Holders of an electronic tourist visa are strictly prohibited from working in Australia.

2)ETA 561 Business Visa

The ETA is valid for one year, allowing multiple entries into Australia with a maximum stay of three months each time.

It permits activities such as attending conferences, conducting business visits, and negotiating business deals.

Note: Holders of an electronic business visa are strictly prohibited from working in Australia.

 

ETA 651 General visa

Tourist  ETA 651visa / Business ETA651 visa  General visa fee HKD880 (The consulate waives visa fees. Our company’s visa service fee is HKD880,The fee includes visa application and assisting the applicant in filling out the 1554 form and responding to related questions.)

*1Our company takes at least (24 hours)*1 to process ordinary visa ETA 651 visa application.

 

 

The 24-hour approval time refers to the time it takes our company to process the applicant's visa, and does not mean the time it takes to actually approve the visa on behalf of the consulate. Please note that there is an opportunity for the Australian Consulate to randomly check whether the application information provided by the applicant meets the visa requirements. Therefore, extending the Australian visa Approval time, the application understands that the final visa approval time is determined by the consulate, the company is not responsible and the applicant agrees that the visa fee will not be refunded.

Apply for an Australian tourist visa  MSAR PASSPORT

1) Applicants can submit the required documents online.  
When submitting the application, you need to provide the following information. The documents you submit will affect the outcome of your application. Please ensure that you have prepared all required documents before submitting the application.  
Visa fee: HKD 3,800  (The visa fee charged by the Consulate is AUD 198, approximately HKD 996; the agency fee charged by our company is HKD 2,804)  
(Visa approval time is at least 30 working days at least)

2. Submit online the photo page of the Macao Special Administrative Region (MSAR) Passport and the Macao Identity Card. 

3. Submit online proof of sufficient funds for the trip, such as recent bank statements, pay slips, tax receipts, or credit card transaction limits.

4. Submit online sufficient financial proof; if you are visiting relatives or friends in Australia, you need to provide an invitation letter written by them along with a copy of their passport. If your relatives or friends will financially support you, you need to provide supporting documents to prove that they have sufficient funds.  

5. Submit online other documents to prove that you have sufficient reasons to return to your country of residence, such as:  
- A letter from your employer confirming that you will return to your job after the trip, along with your tax records; 
-  Your enrollment records or proof of study in your country of residence; -
Evidence of family relationships in your country of residence; -
Proof of identity or visa in your country of residence;
- Proof of property or other assets in your country of residence;  
-  If you have visited other countries, please provide the visas or entry-exit records in your passport.

6. Book an appointment for the applicant's fingerprint collection. 

7. The duration of stay in Australia and whether the visa is approved will be ultimately determined by the Australian Consulate. 

8. With sufficient application materials provided, Visa approval time is at least 30 working days at least.

9.Applicants aged 75 or above must have their physical condition assessed by a designated doctor to confirm that they are fit to visit Australia. After you submit your application, we will refer you to the designated doctor for the relevant assessment.  

10. If you apply for a long-term tourist visa (staying for more than three months), a chest X-ray or health examination is required. After you submit your application, we will refer you to the designated doctor for the relevant examination.

Visa applicants under the age of 18  

A copy of the birth certificate is required.  
If an applicant under 18 is traveling to Australia with only one parent or alone: 
-  Provide Form 1229 "Consent to Grant an Australian Visa to a Child Under 18" filled out and signed by the non-traveling parent(s) or legal guardian(s). It is also necessary to submit the photo and signature pages of the non-traveling parent(s)' passports with their signatures; or an affidavit from the non-traveling parent(s) confirming their consent for the child to travel to Australia.  
- If an applicant under 18 will be accompanied and accommodated by someone other than their parents, legal guardians, or relatives/friends, a declaration filled out and signed by the accompanying person must be submitted.

 

Transit visa for Australia

Apply for an Australian Transit Visa (Visa Subclass 771)

 

1. Passengers transiting through Australia for no more than 72 hours  

2. Passengers do not enter Australia  

3. Transiting through Australia must be at the same airport, with luggage transferred simultaneously to the next destination  

Notes before application 

1. The applicant must be outside Australia and have a confirmed booking to travel to another country within 72 hours of arriving in Australia, and hold a visa to enter that country/region. 

2. If you are joining the crew of a non-military vessel, you must be outside Australia and hold a Maritime Crew Visa along with the necessary crew documents.  

Applicants can submit the required documents online.
